To repeat RJay a bit, the Eagle over WaA359 is known as a waffenamt stamping and is the acceptance mark of the German Weapons Office inspector at the Walther factory. In any case, what's known about Walther pre-war and wartime autos is based on what's "out there" in collections and in the used gun market around the world so available information is by no means complete and probably not completely accurate. Those bastards may have been the most damaging to Walther's records, but who knows. ![]() ![]() and the tooling and equipment that the bombing didn't destroy, the Russians loaded up and carted off to the USSR.
